Garden City Wekerletelep, Budapest, Hungary
Garden city in the urban area of Budapest,
built between 1908 and 1928. The urban plan was made by Ottmár Győri, the type plans of the residential and public buildings by more than 15 architects, who were selected through a design competition. The architectural concept of the main square is according to designs and plans by Károly Kós, the houses around the square by Károly Kós and his colleagues, who formed a group called "Fiatalok" (Youngsters).
